About the Designer
Jack Lenor Larsen was an American textile designer, author, and collector who is known for his contributions to the field of textile design. Larsen studied at the University of Washington and the University of Stockholm before launching his own textile design company, Jack Lenor Larsen, Inc., in 1952. He is best known for his innovative use of materials and techniques, as well as his collaborations with architects and artists.
